XMAS Charity Table
A special event held for Christmas.
The EDAN Gallery hosted an Art Table with proceeds of the sales going to the Breast Cancer Survival trust.
Please visit their website and help out this amazing cause.
The Breast Cancer Survival Trust was established to give small grants to women in the North East of England who are affected by breast cancer. It was established in 1993 by a group of women in the North East who were concerned about the impact of Breast Cancer on women’s lives.
The trust gives small grants of up to £100 to women to enable them to purchase whatever they think will make them feel a little better.
This exhibition is an opportunity for the EDAN artists to showcase their work.
It is an open exhibition, but with an emphasis upon a subject, medium or issue that is each member's particular enthusiasm or passion.
Particular Passions
The Best of County Durham
The County of Durham has much to offer by way of history, geography and culture and our members live locally and beyond the east Durham area.
This exhibition showcased our home county and produced work that reflects the many and various ways in which County Durham can be appreciated and enjoyed.
The "Showcase" exhibition was an opportunity for members to show their work that does not conform to any particular theme – any subject or any medium.

Long Light Exhibition
The "Long Light" exhibition was an opportunity for members to exhibit their work on any subject, using any medium.
Along side the exhibition a photography completion was run which encouraged residents of the area to submit their favourite photos, 20 winners were selected and their photographs displayed on the gallery walls.
A behind the scenes look into how members manage a "changeover" day, changing the art and exhibition in the gallery.
Its a busy time but brings together our members and encourages our community spirit.

Seaham Townscape
This exhibition was been planned in conjunction with the Seaham Heritage Townscape Project team.
In keeping with the stated intention of the Heritage Project which is to "improve spaces within Seaham Conservation Area".
The exhibition was concerned with our artists' perceptions and interpretations of the built environment within the Seaham Conservation Area. With an emphasis upon contemporary images derived from our artist's observations of the historic features of the town.
