Geometry of the Threshold

The title of the work is based on the reclaimed oak flooring and the reclaimed timber from a front door where the two structures meet to create the Threashold. Each piece is hand-cut and arranged to create a sun-burst geometric pattern. The pieces hold the stories of the people who have passed through the door and left the echo of their footprints across the floor.
