An Intense Experience - Venice

I visited Venice last summer on my own for a change. My experience was so much more intense as most of the time I had only my own company so spent more time looking and, with so much to see, was immersed. So much so that, for six days after the visit, when I closed my eyes at night and I was back there, only losing that intensity after line dancing as you need full concentration for that. This painting attempts to recreate the intensity of my visit.
