The model is alone with her thoughts. She is also reflected in an angled mirror. To balance the composition, the striped sheet is included as a patterned relief to the tonality of the overall structure.
(This was previously exhibited in a joint retrospective at The Foxlowe Gallery in Leek, Staffordshire).
