Leave Me to Rot

All hand held objects tell a story of the people who used them. Tools in a garage, hung up with care, used by skilled hands, loved and cherished. What happens when those skills are lost? When we stop knowing how to do things? What happens to the objects and (more importantly) what happens to us? These pieces are imagined objects, they are not literal pieces, they exist to suggest a lost connection, a lost understanding.
