What we were

This collage of found bits and pieces signifies the rational, mechanical, industrial age from which we are struggling to emerge. It is an abstract image representing a past that that is disintegrating but which imposes itself on our present in distorted and purposeless forms that nevertheless continue to seem rational and continue to shape our common-sense thinking.
