Burned out and Abandoned

Local to me is Horden Beach, where I quite often like to walk, looking for sea glass, driftwood and other interesting items that have washed up with the tide. Every now and then I find other strange and unusual things that have (for whatever reason) been left behind and abandoned on the beach, but instead are pulled in the other direction, into the sea, slowly rusting and eroding, until all trace of them is gone.
