Erosion Pendant Necklace

Ceramic pendant created from white stoneware clay, bisque fired and then glaze fired using Mayco glazes to evoke the appearance of a piece of eroding metal in different stages of decay. The surface was further enhanced with gold lustre and sealed with a final third firing. A unique copper wire-wrapped bail adds to the weathered, industrial character of the piece. Finished with a 20" rose gold coloured chain.
