Night Sky At The Water's Edge

Night Sky At The Water's Edge
Night Sky At The Water's Edge
Nasim Akhtar

The deep blues and slate tones evoke the weight of the night air absent of stars, brightness, or light pollution. Instead, the sky is rendered as calm, layered, and subtly shifting, suggesting the quiet movement of darkness itself. In the distance, the imagined rustling of nocturnal wildlife and the distant, eerie call of a night creature deepen the sense of stillness and isolation. The textures introduce a quiet dynamism, giving the surface vitality and allowing the night sky to feel both atmospheric and alive.
