Broken Shell - The Algarve

Using several photos taken on a recent holiday I created this piece. It shows sunrise over the sea. As the title suggests, I have used a broken shell as part of the wild waves. As in Japan, I decided to enhance its damage by sewing it with gold thread, making it a feature of my work.
