Climbing High

Climbing High
Kay Holborn Bond
The initial inspiration of this work comes from industrial cross section drawings of machines and engines. Drawings are made and imagery twisted until a unique shape is formed that speaks of its own sculptural qualities.
'Climbing High' received its name as a result of reflecting on the shapes of the piece once it was made. There is something about this piece that reminds me of scaffolding climbing and clinging to the side of a building.
