Kelp Swirl 1

Kelp Swirl 1 is inspired by the gentle, continuous movement of kelp drifting and swirling in the sea. I was drawn to the way the forms curved and folded endlessly, creating natural rhythms within the water. The rich greens shimmered beneath a bright blue sky, catching and reflecting the sunlight.
This painting is an interpretation from memory, capturing the fluid motion and glistening tones I observed. The central blue form suggests depth and light within the water, while the surrounding sweeping shapes echo the calm yet constant motion of kelp carried by ocean currents.
