Incoming, Outgoing
Charcoal, pastel on paper
Jac Seery Howard
Observational study of a beach-combed scrap of pit conveyor, morphed into the Blast Beach, Seaham, complete with 'coal seam'. The steel staples which formed part of the conveyor's joining mechanism here give way on the left to the new wind turbines. What a tangled web of obfuscation our current energy policies are. Coal, once relied on by the world for energy is now considered a pollutant, replaced by cleaner 'greener' solutions.
