Casting Off The Rocks

This mixed media piece was created from seeing two guys fishing from the rocks on Seaham beach. It seemed appropriate to include figures in this view of a much loved shoreline. Fabrics, materials and paint were used and manipulated on a piece of vintage table linen to echo the forms and textures of the magnesian limestone.
