The work was made as part of an online Fibre Arts course by Deborah Lyddon. Plein air watercolour sketches were made from Bessey's Hole in Seaham while the winter morning moon remained bright. The sketches were used as the basis for and within mixed media collage to create imagined landscapes that retained the atmosphere and features of the original.
