Sculpture
Ellen Dorans
The salvaged wood comes from a Georgian Manor House I stayed at. The owners, when restoring, had kept bits and pieces from the original interior woodwork that were “too nice to throw away” so gave them to me to use in my work. The small objects and bird skeleton were found when out walking. All parts of the sculpture in various stages of discarded decay now having new purpose.
