Avoid Vandalism

Avoid Vandalism
Applique, machine embroidery, ink on upcycled bedsheet
Angela Sandwith
This textile is about the destruction, lack of respect and care of the rural environment, and the community, in the pursuit of installing green energy solutions.
Why pull out metres of an ancient hedge to make a car park for engineers installing a pipeline carrying green energy from Scotland?
Why compulsory purchase arable land to install Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)?
Why site BESS next to a community which has just recovered from the blight and pollution of coal mining?
Etc, etc, etc…..
Have we lost touch with nature?
