Dunstanburgh Kelp
Dunstanburgh Kelp
Anthony Carr

When looking closer at kelp you might notice shapes and textures that share a resemblance to the animals and creatures that also live in and around the ocean. Maybe you can make out an ankle of a seagull or the skin of a whale, kelp even takes on a shape similar to waves or a seascape, as if it has adopted various characteristics of other sea life to give it the best possible chance to live and thrive successfully in its environment.
