This painting sets out the story from my Poem about a retired Pit Pony. The landscape represents the changes from dirty coal mining to electricity with wind turbines and green fields . The pit wheel and rays are symbolic of the sun and its rays, creating a brighter lighter world. Poem on rear and in print form.
