Ryhope Stack

I began this art work a few years ago, and framed it when it seemed complete, but somehow it never seemed quite sufficient. This year, after a walk to the Ryhope Stack, I took it from its original frame, worked more embroidery and applique into it, and reframed it differently. I remember when the stack was attached to the cliffs. It is symbolic of our constantly changing coastline.
