Going Up

The initial inspiration of this work comes from industrial cross-section drawings of machines and engines. Drawings are made and imagery twisted until a unique shape is formed that speaks of its own sculptural qualities.
'Going Up' received its name as a result of reflecting on the shapes of the piece once it was made. There is an optimistic sense of elevation in this little piece.
