Jean's Neighbour's Coal Hole

I have been collecting images of Seaham's coal holes for alomst 20 years. This one is in my friend Jean's back street. Her neighbour was recently doing a massive extension and blocked it up as it was no longer serving a useful purpose, however, since it was in a conservation area, he was made to put it back - hurrah! Sometimes I like planners :-)
