Tidal Memory

Tidal Memory
Nasim Akhtar
“Tidal Memory” captures the lingering impressions left by the sea: echoes of movement, rhythm, and light that settle into the subconscious like waves into sand. Created using liquid acrylics, this piece explores how fluidity and flow shape both surface and sensation. As the tides move, so the colours shift in shape and hue, echoing the constant transformation of the shoreline. The work invites the viewer to drift, to reflect, and to remember the quiet stories that water leaves behind.
