This view is of Scarista, Isle of Harris. The wild flowers in the Western Isles add even more to the beauty of this stunning coastline in summer. I painted a plein air watercolour when there really was a gap in the stone wall to lead the eye to the sea and the North Harris Hills. Unfortunately, a new wall has been built since then.
