Dreaming Adrift

Dreaming Adrift
Dreaming Adrift
Kay Holborn Bond

The initial inspiration of this work comes from industrial cross section drawings of machines and engines. Drawings are made and imagery twisted until a unique shape is formed that speaks of its own sculptural qualities.
'Dreaming Adrift' received its name as a result of reflecting on the shapes of the piece once it was made. Something about this shape made me think of ships but as there is nothing solid or grounding for my illogical connection, I guess I must be dreaming!
