Reflections of Hawthorn Dene

Although the theme ‘Pool’ is open to interpretation I have channeled my efforts into observations, sketches and photographs from my frequent walks into and around Hawthorn Dene.
Still water reflects the colours and shapes that surround it, both above and below its surface. In doing so it pulls together all the elements within nature, acts as a vital life force and enhances the quality of the overall scene and also, as humans, our shared interaction with nature and the environment.
