Sermon for an Energy Landscape-Misery

Sermon for an Energy Landscape-Misery
Black Stoneware
Kay Holborn Bond
The sequence of misery, redemption and thankfulness forms a foundation, three-part framework in Christian theology, describing the human condition and the life of faith. But if we replace God with secular peoples or institutions, the story remains the same.
MISERY
Refers to the recognition of one's sin, frailty, and inability to fix our own brokenness.
This compares with the pre-regulation age of coal; total exploitation, no health and safety, just pain and suffering.
