Roger Gadd

A man in high-vis, supplied for a job which, of course, is not in the mining industry, walks his dog across the park area on the site of the former Easington Colliery. As I write this, I realise how difficult it is to make it clear what I mean. This is the site of the former Easington Colliery, which has been cleared at the bottom end of the village of Easington Colliery, which still stands. At some time in the future, no doubt people will ask how the village got its name.
