I make pots to be used and enjoyed as part of everyday life. Working primarily in stoneware clay, I create functional tableware alongside a small number of individual decorative pieces, with the hope that they will become familiar, well used objects in the home.
My practice is guided by an enjoyment of touch, rhythm, and repetition. I decorate my pots with repeated lines made using a hand carved roller, a process that naturally introduces subtle irregularities. These small variations are important to me, as they reflect the making process and give each piece its own quiet character.

I am drawn to simple, balanced forms and surfaces that invite handling. Through restrained colour and textured decoration, I aim to make work that feels calm, honest, and considered. Whether functional or decorative, my pots are intended to be lived with over time, developing a sense of familiarity and a gentle connection between object and user.
