The Siren of Seaham

For the theme of “Lifeboat”, I wanted to think about what kinds of things make the sea so dangerous, and so awe-inspiring throughout history. So, I decided to turn to mythology, and create my own mythological creature for Seaham’s seaside: the Siren.
Her pose, hair, hat, and the style of the sign are all inspired by vintage posters from the North East.
