I am entirely self taught, my official background is in medicine but creating has been a passion from early childhood. I started making drawings and paintings from photos to imaginary scenes of forest life. I have no fixed style but I enjoy many mediums and combining them together. My most recent works are looking at combining acrylic paintings with clay sculpture overlayed. My favourite works have been in paper clay and polymer clay sculptures/scenes, these are largely inspired by nature, love of plants, animals, fungus and anything miniature and colourful. I have experimented with wild clay, watercolours, quilling, pen drawing and upcycling random items into my work, I love trying new mediums and styles. I have never exhibited or sold my work before, I have created mostly for myself and friends. I do have some of my work on instagram as a digital archive. More work available on request I can send over photos, as a couple of my more intricate sculptures are not on instagram. There have been hiatuses in making and sharing may work online due to travel and moving a lot this last couple of years. I always fall back in love with creating, having gone through a couple times in my life getting rid of most of what I own, a big box of long curated art and craft supplies has always remained.
