I work in oil paint, usually on canvas, on a wide variety of scales.
I draw mainly with charcoal from direct observation.

My subjects tend to be aspects of landscape (rock faces), life study/portrait, boats, plants/flowers.
I am fairly knowledgable about art history and have visited most of the major European and American art galleries.
